Watch Pigeons Playing Ping Pong Debut Discofied ‘The White Lotus’ Theme Song Cover

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong conducted their “Festival Of Melting Lights” two-night holiday run this past weekend at XL Live in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania not far from their home base of Baltimore. The jam-funk quartet unveiled a version of The White Lotus theme song during the second night on December 17.

There’s been quite a buzz around the HBO anthology series created by Mike White, which just wrapped its second season. After kicking off night two of “Festival Of Melting Lights” with a fitting “Lightning” encompassing “Moonwalk,” PPPP ran through “Paperboy” and “Elephante” before unveiling their disco-tinged rendition of The White Lotus theme, originally created by the show’s Emmy-winning composer Cristobal Tapia de Veer.

After their seven-minute rendering of the theme, PPPP headed into “Upfunk” ahead of “Philosophy,” which saw opener LITZ, aka Austin Litz, joining on saxophone. Litz also added sax to “Whirled” in the second frame. Check out the setlist via Phantasy Tour:
