Keyboardist Nate Wilson has joined moe. permanently after spending 2022 touring with the band while guitarist Chuck Garvey recovered from a stroke. The announcement came with news of a fresh batch of moe. 2023 tour dates in late April and early May.

“We are thrilled to announce that our long-time friend, keyboardist Nate Wilson will be joining moe. full-time moving forward,” bassist Rob Derhak stated in a press release. “Former founding member of both Percy Hill, and Assembly of Dust (and current band leader for Ghosts Of Jupiter), Nate has been part of our lineup since our first shows without Chuck Garvey. He has since proven himself a valued contributor to our sound, and now with Chuck back in the groove, he compliments our overall style. His sense of humor and overall breadth of musical knowledge is a welcome addition.”

“I’m beyond excited to embark on this new adventure as full-time keyboardist for moe.,” added Wilson. “The band and their fans are legends. Can’t wait to hit the road this spring!” The lineup of Derhak, Garvey, Wilson, guitarist Al Schnier, percussionist Jim Loughlin and drummer Vinnie Amico closed out a weekend of shows together last Sunday in Montclair, New Jersey.

The first of the newly-added tour dates is a concert to be held at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma on April 26. moe. then heads to Texas for shows in Dallas in April 27 and Austin on April 28. Next comes a two-night stand at Tipitina’s in New Orleans on April 29 and 30. moe. also announced performances in Fayetteville, Arkansas on May 2 and Kansas City on May 3.

Tickets for the seven new tour dates go on sale to the general public this Friday, February 3 at 10 a.m. local venue times. Pre-sale tickets will be available via Seated on Wednesday, February 1 at 10 a.m. local venue times.
