Béla Fleck And The Flecktones Confirm First Tour Dates Since 2019

Béla Fleck and the Flecktones have announced their first tour dates in four years, with the band set to reunite this summer. The run of four June concerts includes dates in Indiana, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.

The internationally celebrated banjo maestro will reconvene the original Flecktones lineup of bassist Victor Wooten, percussionist Roy “Futureman” Wooten, and multi-instrumentalist Howard Levy. The band will resurface in Fort Wayne, IN on June 10th ahead of stops in Milwaukee, WI (6/11), Oklahoma City, OK (6/13), and finally Santa Fe, NM (6/14). An announcement notes that there are “A few more dates to come as well.” The band’s website lists concerts on June 12th and 15th to be announced.

Tickets for the newly announced 2023 Béla Fleck and the Flecktones tour dates go on sale on Friday via the band’s website.

Béla Fleck and the Flecktones were originally due to go out on tour in 2020, but those plans were canceled due to the pandemic. In 2021, Fleck released My Bluegrass Heart featuring an array of celebrated contemporary bluegrass musicians including Billy StringsSam BushMolly TuttleSierra HullChris Thile, and many more. Following the return of live music, Fleck hit the road, taking the album on tour with Michael Cleveland, Sierra Hull, Justin MosesMark Schatz, and Bryan Sutton.
