Dave Matthews Band will hit the road for a summer tour armed with a new album, Walk Around The Moon. The band’s tenth studio album and first since 2018’s Come Together is out on May 19th. Announced alongside a 42-date spring/summer tour, the album’s lead single “Madman’s Eyes” is available now.
Of the 12 tracks found on Walk Around The Moon, seven have already seen live debuts including the title track, which first showed up on July 23rd, 2021 in Raleigh, NC. Of those tracks, nearly all were debuted since the pandemic began, with Matthews even unveiling “The Ocean and the Butterfly” and “Singing from the Windows” during various solo quarantine livestreams in 2020. The only outlier is “Break Free”, which debuted back in 2006 and has seen sporadic live performances since.
Walk Around The Moon is a product of the pandemic that hears the band once again teaming up with longtime producer Rob Evans. The lead single, “Madman’s Eyes”, carries a Middle Eastern influence as thundering strings and horns punctuate Matthews’ reflections on the state of the world.

Following a run of Mexican tour dates, Dave Matthews Band’s 2023 summer tour kicks off on May 19th in The Woodlands, TX. The monthslong run of concerts will include the band’s debut at New York’s Forest Hills Stadium on June 9th.
In addition to an array of one-off shows, DMB also has two-night runs planned in Wilmington, NC; Charleston, SC; Noblesville, IN; Chicago, IL; Gilford, NH; Saratoga Springs, NY; Camden, NJ; West Palm Beach, FL; and Irvine, CA. The summer tour will culminate in the band’s traditional three-night Labor Day weekend run at The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, WA, September 1st–3rd.
An online pre-sale for members of the DMB Warehouse Fan Association is currently underway. Citi cardmembers will have access to a pre-sale beginning Tuesday, February 14th at 10 a.m. local time and running through Thursday, February 16th at 10 p.m. local time via the Citi Entertainment program. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 17th at 10 a.m. local time. See below for a full list of tour dates.
