Madonna announced Madonna: The Celebration Tour, taking fans through the catalog of her past 40-plus years of music.
Madonna is the best-selling female solo touring artist of all time, with 38 top 100 hits on Billboard. Some of her hits include “Vogue,” “Music,” “Crazy For You,” “Like a Virgin,” “Like a Prayer,” “Justify My Love,” “Live to Tell” and “Papa Don’t Preach.” Madonna states that she is “excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for.” The tour will also “pay respect to the city of New York, where her career in music began.”
The Celebration Tour will offer a one-of-a-kind experience with special guest Bob the Drag Queen a.k.a. Caldwell Tidicue across all dates on the global tour. In her announcement video, she featured many prominent figures, including Diplo, Judd Apatow, Jack Black, Lil Wayne, Bob The Drag Queen, Kate Berlant, Larry Owens, Meg Stalter, Eric Andre, and more. The 35-city global tour will kick off in North America on Saturday, July 15 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC with a stop at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY, on Wednesday, Aug. 23, and Thursday, Aug. 24.
