Mr. Bungle will embark on their first U.S. tour since 2020 this May as part of a West Coast run with labelmates Melvins and Spotlights. Ipecac Recordings has resurrected its Geek Show package for a series of seven shows that will be held between May 11 and 23.
The dates mark the return of the Geek Show package, which last hit the road in 2004. Most of the cities on the upcoming excursion will host their first Mr. Bungle performances in 22 years. “The Geek Show tours of the past were some of the best live show experiences I’ve ever had,” stated Mr. Bungle and Ipecac Recordings co-founder Mike Patton in a press release. “Hanging out with friends that are also some of my favorite musicians is a great way to spend a couple weeks. This iteration is a mindblower. You will want to be the first one there and the last to leave this party!”
Mr. Bungle, Melvins and Spotlights start the Geek Tour 2023 at the Palladium in Los Angeles on May 11. Then, each act besides Spotlights will perform at the Sick New World festival in Las Vegas on May 13. From there the package tour hits Denver (May 16), Salt Lake City (May 17) and Seattle (May 19). Stops in Portland, Oregon (May 21) and Oakland (May 23) will bring the excursion to an end.
General on-sales start this Friday, January 27 at 10 a.m. local time. Grab Geek Show Tour 2023 tickets via Ticketmaster and other outlets with links below:
