New Orleans Jazz Fest Reveals 2023 Lineup: Dead & Co, TTB, Santana, Lizzo, Jon Batiste, More

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival has revealed the music lineup for its 2023 event, set to take place over the course of two long weekends at New Orleans, LA’s Fair Grounds Race Course from April 28th through May 7th.

Headlining acts for New Orleans Jazz Fest 2023, presented by Shell, include Dead & CompanyEd SheeranLizzo, Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers, Santana, Jon Batiste, Jill Scott, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Kane Brown, H.E.R., Steve Miller Band, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Gary Clark Jr., Leon Bridges, Farruko Ludacris, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Wu-Tang Clan + The Soul Rebels, Kenny Loggins, The Revivalists, Jazmine Sullivan, and Herbie Hancock.

Weekend one of New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival 2023, running from Friday, April 28th through Sunday, April 30th, will feature Ed Sheeran, Lizzo, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Gary Clark Jr., Kenny Loggins, Wu-Tang Clan + The Soul Rebels, Jazmine Sullivan, and The Revivalists alongside Big Freedia, Los Lobos, Jamie Cullum, Tank and The Bangas, Taj Mahal Quartet, Allison Russell, Mavis Staples, Marcus King, Angelique Kidjo, Samantha Fish, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Kermit Ruffins & the Barbecue Swingers, Dumpstaphunk, Rebirth Brass Band, Charlie Musselwhite, Cyril Neville, Jon Cleary & the Absolute Monster Gentlemen, Leo Nocentelli, Sonny Landreth, Cory Wong, Nicholas Payton featuring MonoNeon and Corey Fonville, Sweet Crude, Big Chief Monk Boudreaux & the Golden Eagles, Davell Crawford, Dragon Smoke, Dr. Bobby Jones, Honey Island Swamp Band, and many more.

Beyond the official festivities at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, the Big Easy famously comes alive with live music and celebration each year throughout Fest’s ten-day window. Even when the Fair Grounds go quite on the Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday between the two festival weekends, countless live music events continue to take place around the city throughout that week, fondly known as the “Daze Between.”

Tuesday, May 2nd and Wednesday, May 3rd, Daze Between New Orleans will return to Faubourg Brewery for its second-annual festival. In addition to two sets each night by Goose, Daze Between New Orleans 2023 will feature performances by Tank and the Bangas, Lawrence, Neal Francis, David Shaw, George Porter Jr. and Runnin’ Pardners, Eggy, Melt, Honey Island Swamp BandJ & The Causeways, and The Quickening.
