Umphrey’s McGee brought its umXXV Anniversary Tour to GLC Live At 20 Monroe in Grand Rapids, MI on Friday with support from Doom Flamingo.

Doom Flamingo kicked off the evening with an opening set that included the live debut of “After Ours”. The song is set to appear on the band’s upcoming debut full-length album, Peaches & Bobbi, which is due out on February 10th (click here to pre-save the album). Friday marked the second of three shows featuring support from Doom Flamingo. The group recently returned from Mexico, where it performed at Widespread Panic‘s Panic En Le Playa destination event.

Umphrey’s then took command of the stage for two sets, kicking off set one with the apt choice of “There’s No Crying in Mexico”. The first set was highlighted by a 22-minute “Mantis” jam followed by a sit in from Doom Flamingo saxophonist Mike Quinn on “Booth Love” to close the set. Set two also featured a Doom Flamingo guest appearance, with keyboardist Ross Bogan—who recently launched a solo project under the name Wolf Mask—joining Umphrey’s on “Cemetery Walk II” after the band played “Cemetery Walk” on its own.
