After being forced to cancel his remaining dates at the end of 2022 due to two successive bouts with COVID, Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band have announced that they will be hitting the road for a tour focused primarily around the West Coast in the spring of 2023. The tour will include stops in California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, and Utah. The tour will kick off on May 19th and conclude on June 17th, with a total of 20 dates.
“It’s a new year and here are some new tour dates,” the legendary Beatles drummer stated. “I love playing with the All Starrs and can’t wait to be back out on the road again with this band. I send Peace and Love to you all and we hope to see you out there.”
The tour will feature Ringo Starr along with Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Edgar Winter, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart, and Gregg Bissonette.
Starr had a busy year in 2022, which included a spring and fall tour with his All Starr band. He also released EP3, which was later issued on 10” vinyl and blue cassette, along with a new music video for the song “Everyone and Everything”. November marked the release of Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band Live at the Greek 2019 on Blu Ray, DVD, CD, and a special yellow double vinyl. Additionally, Starr created 500 life-sized “Peace and Love” sculptures of his iconic hand symbol, which were sold exclusively through Julien’s Auctions to benefit the Lotus Foundation.
