Spafford will continue a busy start to 2023 this spring. The jam quartet’s spring tour dates span March 23 through April 24 with a focus on the eastern half of the U.S.
Cory Schechtman joined Spafford at the beginning of the year following the departure of longtime keyboardist Andrew “Red” Johnson. Schechtman, guitarist Brian Moss, bassist Jordan Fairless and drummer Nick Tkachyk are currently on the road as part of an extensive winter tour.
Spafford launches their 2023 Spring Tour at The Broadberry in Richmond, Virginia on March 23. The four-piece then heads to Pennsylvania for concerts in Pittsburgh on March 24 and Harrisburg on March 25. Next come stops in Ithaca, New York on March 26; Huntington, West Virginia on March 29; Covington, Kentucky on March 30 and Chattanooga, Tennessee on March 31.
An appearance at Atlanta’s Mental Awakening 2023 starts April for the band. From there Spafford brings the trek to Arkansas with shows planned in Fayetteville on April 4 and Little Rock on April 5. An engagement in Baton Rouge, Louisiana follows on April 6 along with a trip to Alabama for concerts in Mobile on April 7 and Birmingham on April 8. Spafford swings through Florida next with stops in Jacksonville on April 12, Deland on April 13, Miami on April 14 and Stuart on April 15. Additional performances in Georgia, North Carolina and Virginia conclude the month-long excursion.
