Crazy Horse members Ralph Molina, Billy Talbot and Nils Lofgren along with Neil Young announced a new album entitled All Roads Lead Home due out through NYA Records on March 31. Nils Lofgren’s “You Will Never Know” from the nine-track LP was released today to preview a record credited to Talbot, Molina, Lofgren & Young.
Ralph Molina, Billy Talbot and Nils Lofgren wrote and recorded their original songs, each with other musicians, at multiple locations while the pandemic kept them apart. The three musicians challenged themselves to find out what their new individual configurations would yield during time away from working together and with Neil Young. All Roads Lead Home also features Neil’s live solo version of BARN cut “Song Of The Seasons,” which he contributed “as a sign of solidarity with the band of brothers he has shared the stage and studio with since 1969.”
“In so many ways, Crazy Horse exists as a party of one in the way they have created something so uniquely original and completely within their own world,” noted press materials announcing All Roads Lead Home. “Crazy Horse has never made an album like this before.”
Neil Young & Crazy Horse’s last album, World Record, arrived in November of 2022. The ever-prolific band released BARN in 2021 and Colorado in 2019. Additionally, the “lost” Crazy Horse album Toast came out last July.
