Foo Fighters Confirm 1st Headlining Tour Dates Of 2023

28

Foo Fighters confirmed their first non-festival performances of 2023. The band led by frontman/founder Dave Grohl confirmed three headlining tour dates in May and June to go alongside previously confirmed festival appearances.

Foo Fighters have not toured since the untimely death of drummer Taylor Hawkins in March 2022. In September 2022, Hawkins’ life was celebrated with all-star tribute concerts in London and in Los Angeles. The band posted a message on New Year’s Eve indicating an intention to continue performing without Hawkins, though they did not reveal who would be behind the drum kit.

Foo Fighters confirmed a headlining concert on May 24 at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire, followed by a previously announced May 26 appearance at Boston Calling. A performance at Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio on May 28 comes before a trip overseas to play Germany’s Rock am Ring.

Newly announced Foo Fighters headlining shows will occur back in the United States on June 14 at Walmart AMP in Rogers, Arkansas and on June 16 at Oak Mountain Amphitheatre in Pelham, Alabama. Foo Fighters will perform at Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee on June 18. Additionally, Foo Fighters will perform on July 15 at Milwaukee’s Harley-Davidson Homecoming, in Japan at Fuji Rock Festival in late July and at the Sea.Hear.Now festival in Asbury Park, New Jersey on September 17.

Tickets for the three Foo Fighter’s headlining tour dates go on sale Friday, March 3 at 10 a.m. local time. Foofighters.com and Citi pre-sales tickets are available today — Tuesday, February 28 — at 12 p.m. ET.
