My Morning Jacket and Fleet Foxes will pair up for a trio of co-headlining concerts scheduled for August. The two bands will perform their first-ever shows together at two storied venues in California.
The brief tour includes shows at The Greek Theatre in Berkeley on August 18 and 19, followed by The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on August 20. Each show will feature both bands playing equal set lengths. Fleet Foxes will close the first night, while My Morning Jacket will play second at the final two shows.
“We’re really looking forward to these shows,” My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James stated. “I think that Robin [Pecknold] and Fleet Foxes have created some of the most transportive and truly mesmerizing music of our time – the architecture of a Fleet Foxes song can be so spellbinding – there is something so magical to be found whenever I stand in the center of the temple that is the inside of the heart of [it]… something so universally healing to be experienced and felt deeply within. We are so honored and excited to get to share the stage!”
Tickets to the two Greek Theatre Berkeley shows will be available through a pre-sale starting tomorrow, Wednesday, February 8, followed by general tickets going on sale on Friday, February 10.

Tickets to the Hollywood Bowl L.A. show will be available via a pre-sale starting on Tuesday, April 25, followed by general tickets going on sale on Tuesday, May 2.
