Trey Talks: Anastasio To Preview Phish Mexico Event In Interview With SiriusXM

Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio recently stopped by SiriusXM Studios for an interview with Phish Radio host Ari Fink. Among the topics the two discussed was the band’s Phish: Riviera Maya 2023 destination event that kicks off in Mexico tomorrow, Thursday, February 23.

Tomorrow’s performance at Moon Palace Cancún in Rivera Cancún, Mexico will be the band’s first since Phish’s recent four-night run at Madison Square Garden that culminated on New Year’s Eve. Anastasio and Fink also reviewed those MSG NYE shows and the guitarist revealed some of the countdown gag ideas that were tossed around.

Anastasio’s interview with Fink premieres on SiriusXM Phish Radio today at 5 p.m. ET. Replays are slated for 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. ET on Thursday, February 23, and again at 11 a.m. ET on Friday, February 24.
