Yeah Yeah Yeahs confirmed new tour dates that will find the band performing across the United States in May and June. The Faint and Perfume Genius will support at select tour stops.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs kick off the run of newly announced tour dates on May 3 in Washington D.C. An appearance on May 5 at Atlanta’s Shaky Knees Music Festival comes next ahead of two shows in Texas with stops in Houston on May 7 and Irving on May 9. Salt Lake City’s Kilby Block Party will host YYYs on May 12, followed by an appearance at Just Like Heaven in Pasadena, California on May 13.
After a few days off, Yeah Yeah Yeahs pick back up on May 26 at Boston Calling Music Festival. The tour then heads to Chicago on May 3, Minneapolis on June 3 and Red Rocks outside Denver on June 5. The U.S. leg wraps with shows on Jue 7 in Redmond, Washington; on June 8 in Troutdale, Oregon and on June 10 in Berkeley, California at The Greek Theatre.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs are slated to perform in late July at Japan’s Fuji Rock Festival. The band also confirmed a run of shows in Europe in late August. Tickets for Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ newly announced tour dates go on sale Friday, February 10 at 10 a.m. local venue time.

It was a step towards what radical closeness feels like after a long separation. Each record has one of these diamonds in the rough that just feels like flying to me. It felt right to keep the video as stripped down and dare I say beautiful in its naïveté. David Black put us in front of his 70s analog video camera with the intention to pull stills for band shots. He had me sing to ‘Blacktop’ before I had even memorized the lyrics, I thought I knew the song by heart but it felt like an introduction, like meeting it for the first time. It wasn’t intended to end up as a video and as a return to the earliest visuals from the record it completes a circle, we’re so happy we have it, a simple layered performance for a deceptively simple song. We hope you enjoy.”
