[UPDATE 3/13/23]: Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band have postponed their third concert in a row due to an unspecified illness. The classic rock stalwarts have added a gig in Albany, NY to the growing list of shows to make up at a later date.
The Boss and company were due to perform on Tuesday, March 14th at the MVP Arena in Albany. On Sunday, however, the band posted the same form letter seen twice last week, stating that “due to illness” the concert has been postponed. This announcement follows postponements last week at Columbus, OH’s Nationwide Arena (3/9) and Uncasville, CT’s Mohegan Sun Arena (3/12).
In the wake of the mounting postponements, E Street Band guitarist Stevie Van Zandt chimed in on Twitter to assuage fans’ fears.
“No need to be anxious or afraid,” he told one fan. “Nothing serious. Just a temporary situation. We will all be back in full force very soon.”
The band has asked fans to hang onto their tickets as they work to reschedule all of the shows. Zandt echoed that statement, clarifying for one user who asked about the “cancelled” show, “Postponed. We don’t cancel.”

The first postponement arrived on Thursday afternoon, just hours before Springsteen was due to perform at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH. Then on Saturday, Springsteen and company postponed their show at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT, giving audiences a bit more notice ahead of the show on Sunday, March 12th.
Audiences for both postponed Bruce Springsteen concerts are urged to hang onto their tickets as the band reschedules the shows.

Last month saw Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band open their first North American tour since 2016 with a show in Tampa, FL.
