SoCal-based reggae-rock band Dirty Heads will embark on the Island Glow Tour 2023 this summer. Lupe Fiasco, G. Love & Special Sauce, Yelawolf, Tropidelic, Little Stranger and Bikini Trill will each open select shows over the course of the eight-week trek.
Dirty Heads, who celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2023 and recently released the new single “Rescue Me,” will have Yelawolf serve as direct support for the start of the trek with Lupe Fiasco filling the role for the final month. The lengthy excursion gets underway with concerts in Bonner, Montana on June 13 and Nampa, Idaho on June 14.
A lineup of Dirty Heads, Yelawolf, G. Love & Special Sauce and Tropidelic is in place for a show in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 17 as well as a swing through Texas featuring stops in Corpus Christi on June 21, Houston on June 22, New Braunfels on June 23 and Irving on June 24. Next comes a truncated bill in Maplewood, Minnesota on June 26 before the full lineup noted earlier is back in place for concerts in Kansas City, Grand Junction (Colorado) and Ralson (Nebraska) with Lettuce and Tropidelic opening for Dirty Heads at Colorado’s idyllic Red Rocks Amphitheatre on June 30.
Lupe Fiasco joins the tour starting in Chicago on July 7. Dirty Heads, Lupe Fiasco, G. Love & Special Sauce and Tropidelic then hit Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, Buffalo, Boston, Hartford and Bethlehem (Pennsylvania). Next, the same lineup sans Tropidelic will play Hampton Beach (New Hampshire), Atlantic City and Pittsburgh. Bikini Trill hops on for stops in Raleigh and Baltimore with Little Stranger replacing G. Love & Special Sauce in Doswell (Virginia) and Charleston. The tour concludes with Dirty Heads, Lupe Fiasco and Bikini Trill performing in Asheville on August 2, Charlotte on August 3, Atlanta on August 4 and Outer Banks (North Carolina) on August 6.
