Once competitions finish for the summer installment of GoPro Mountain Games in Vail, the entertainment moves to the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in the evenings for Mountains of Music. Organizers Vail Valley Foundation revealed the full 2023 Mountains of Music lineup today with Brothers Of A Feather (Chris Robinson and Rich Robinson), Orebolo and Local Natives topping the bill each night from Thursday, June 8 through Saturday, June 10.
Brothers Of A Feather featuring Chris and Rich performing stripped-down versions of classic Black Crowes songs take the stage at The Amp on Thursday, June 8 after a set from Colorado’s own funk institution The Motet. Then, acoustic Goose offshoot Orebolo consisting of Rick Mitarotonda, Peter Anspach and Jeff Arevalo follow a set by The Heavy Heavy on Friday, June 9. Local Natives and Circles Around The Sun close out Mountains of Music 2023 on Saturday, June 10.

GoPro Mountain Games will also host free daytime musical performances across multiple stages in Vail. Trevor Green, the Shakedown Family Band, Emelise, Chi McLean, Brendan McKinney & the 99 Brown Dogs, Kory Montgomery Band, Johnny Schleper Band and Rocky Mountain Grateful Dead Revue will each play sets over the course of the athletic competition.
