Gov’t Mule Reveals May 2023 Headlining Tour Dates

Gov’t Mule added 10 headline tour dates in May which along with two previously announced festival appearances form their 2023 Spring Tour. The quartet will focus on the Southeast for a trek that ends with two nights in frontman Warren Haynes‘ hometown of Asheville, North Carolina.

Haynes, Matt Abts, Jorgen Carlsson and Danny Louis launch the run with their traditional show in New Orleans during Jazz Fest. George Porter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners open at NOLA’s Orpheum Theater on May 5. Mule then plays Memphis’ Beale Street Music Festival on May 6 before a quick trip to the Midwest for concerts in Evansville, Indiana on May 7 and Cleveland on May 9.

The tour moves on to Ashland, Kentucky on May 11 and the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on May 12. Next comes the band’s appearance at the inaugural Echoland Music Festival in Live Oak, Florida on May 13. From there Gov’t Mule hits Birmingham, Alabama on May 14 and swings into Georgia for shows in Macon on May 16 and Augusta on May 18. The thre-week jaunt concludes at Asheville’s Salvage Station on May 19 and 20.

Tickets for the new headlining dates go on sale next Wednesday, March 8 at 10 a.m. local time. Pre-sale tickets will be available as part of an Artist Presale on Friday, March 3 at 10 a.m. ET and local/promoter presales on Monday, March 6 at 10 a.m. local time.
