Neighbor stopped in Fairfield, CT on Friday for a sold-out show at the intimate StageOne at FTC.

The Boston-based jam quartet formed by childhood neighbors Richard James (Pink Talking Fish) and Lyle Brewer treated the capacity Connecticut crowd to two sets of mostly original material. The band kept the audience on their toes with seamless segues and teases throughout the night.

After playing “Steel” at the start of set one, Neighbor returned to the tune again and again, teasing it in multiple songs in both sets. The band also debuted its cover of Bobby and Shirley Womack‘s “It’s All Over Now” during the encore, making sure to included a tease of “I Tried”, which appeared in set one directly after “Steel”.
