Peter Gabriel announced his first solo North American tour dates since 2012. The legendary artist also shared a new single, “Playing For Time.”
“Playing For Time” is the third preview from Gabriel’s forthcoming album i/o, his first studio effort since 2011’s New Blood. Peter previously shared the singles “Panopticom” and “The Court.”

While Peter Gabriel toured with Sting in 2016, the 2023 North American trek marks his first solo excursion since 2012. Gabriel previously announced dates in Europe and his native UK. The 2023 North American tour gets underway in Canada on September 8 in Quebec City. Additional Canadian dates include Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal.
Gabriel then hits the U.S. with a concert in Boston on September 14 ahead of shows in Philadelphia, New York City and Chicago to close out September. Following a show in Vancouver on October 7, Gabriel will swing through Seattle and San Francisco. The last date on the books so far is in Los Angeles on October 13 with more dates in the Northeast, Midwest, Colorado and Texas TBA.
