Slightly Stoopid and Sublime with Rome mapped out tour dates for their Summertime 2023 Tour. The trek, which will see support from Atmosphere and The Movement, gets underway in July and stretches into September.
The Summertime 2023 Tour is a culmination of the Southern California bands’ 25 year history. Late Sublime guitarist Bradley Nowell signed Slightly Stoopid to Skunk Records when founding members Miles Doughty and Kyle McDonald were teenagers as well as contributed to and produced their 1996 self-titled debut album.
Doughty detailed the Summertime 2023 tour:
“We couldn’t be more excited for the Summertime 2023 tour. We haven’t toured with Sublime since the early years of Stoopid and we are really excited to be back with our brothers on what we like to call the ultimate summer band camp. We’re stoked to debut some new songs and play new venues and cities we haven’t hit for a while. And most importantly we can’t wait to be playing music for all of you this summer… between the on-stage collabs and the backstage hangs it’s gonna be insane! The Stoopidheads are what fuels Slightly Stoopid. Should be an epic summer of madness!!!”
The Summertime 2023 Tour launches on July 6 in the Seattle area followed by concerts in Bend, Oregon; Nampa, Idaho; and West Valley City, Utah. The bands then return to their native California with stops in the Bay Area, Los Angeles area (no Sublime With Rome in L.A.) and Slightly Stoopid’s hometown of San Diego on July 16.
A Texas swing begins on July 21 in Houston followed by engagements in Austin and the Dallas area. From there it’s on to the Midwest beginning with a concert in Somerset, Wisconsin on July 27. Additional Midwest stops include Chicago, the Detroit area and Indianapolis.
On August 3 the Summertime 2023 Tour rolls into North Charleston, South Carolina ahead of a concert in Virginia Beach, Virginia. A pair of North Carolina shows in Raleigh and Wilmington follow.
Slightly Stoopid and Sublime With Rome continue north with stops in Holmdel, New Jersey and Columbia, Maryland on August 17 and 18 respectively before heading to Pittsburgh. Next, New England engagements in Gilford, New Hampshire and Mansfield, Massachusetts before heading to Wantagh, New York on August 26.
The Summertime 2023 Tour then hops down to Florida beginning with a concert in Jasonville on September 1. The last date on the books so far takes place in West Palm Beach on September 3 with more dates to be added.
