Someone Tell Jamie Lee Curtis: Kitchen Dwellers Schedule Matinee Concert In Montana

42

Recent Academy Award-winning actor Jamie Lee Curtis went viral for her plea for bands to perform shows earlier in the day. If the 64-year-old co-star of Everything Everywhere All At Once happens to be in Livingston, Montana on June 4, she’ll be able to catch a matinee performance by Kitchen Dwellers and still be home at a reasonable time.

Curtis recently was interviewed on the red carpet of the Independent Spirit Awards. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Curtis gave her thoughts on late-night entertainment and then challenged U2, Coldplay and Bruce Springsteen to have earlier start times for their concerts, stating:

“I am gonna just say this now as a taunt and as a suggestion. U2: do a matinee. Coldplay: do a matinee. What about a 12-noon concert, Coldplay? What about it? Bruce Springsteen, do a fucking matinee. You’re old. Why wouldn’t you let me come and see you, Bruce Springsteen, in glory days (pun intended), and do it at noon or 1 o’clock – 2 o’clock matinee theater in New York? I will come and hear your five-hour concert Bruce at 2 o’clock, and I’m gonna be home and in bed by 7:30.”

Kitchen Dwellers added a fourth night to their run at Pine Creek Lodge in their home state of Montana. The string band will perform a matinee show on June 4 in Paradise Valley beginning at 5 p.m. (which hopefully isn’t too late for Curtis).

Tickets to Kitchen Dwellers’ matinee performance on June 4 are on sale now. Purchase tickets via Pine Creek Lodge.
