Red Hot Chili Peppers and John Mayer top the 2023 Sound On Sound lineup with Alanis Morissette, Trey Anastasio Band and Hozier just a few of the other acts on the bill. The two-day music festival returns for its second year Saturday, September 30 – Sunday, October 1 at Bridgeport, Connecticut’s Seaside Park.
Additional Sound On Sound 2023 performers include Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Lord Huron, Dispatch, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Mt. Joy, Steel Pulse, Joy Oladokun, Margo Price and more. The festival made its debut in 2022 and comes back this fall with a reconfigured site layout in response to feedback from the inaugural event.
More space has been added with organizers doubling the festival footprint. Plus, walkways have been redesigned and relocated to allow for easier movement through the festival grounds. Sound On Sound will also host three times as many food and beverage vendors as at the inaugural festival with upgraded restroom facilities available and other enhancements.
Sets at the festival will be presented back to back with no overlapping performances. A large turntable stage will be utilized, equipped with a state-of-the-art audio and visual system.
