The Disco Biscuits Plot ‘Road To New Orleans’ Run Featuring Two Shows During Jazz Fest

The Disco Biscuits have announced a four-night, three-city Road To New Orleans spring 2023 run culminating in a two-night stand at the Big Easy’s Mahalia Jackson Theater during the second weekend of Jazz Fest.

The four-night run, presented by Live For Live Music, will kick off in Alabama with shows at Birmingham’s Iron City (Wednesday, May 3rd) and Mobile’s Soul Kitchen (Thursday, May 4th). From there, The Disco Biscuits will make their way to New Orleans, Louisiana on Friday, May 5th and Saturday, May 6th (8:00 p.m. doors, 10:00 p.m. show) for a two-night stint at Mahalia Jackson Theater, located in the heart of Louis Armstrong Park.

The Road To New Orleans run comes at an exciting time for the beloved electronic-jam-fusion outfit. Currently in the midst of one of their most prolific creative periods in years, The Disco Biscuits have been consistently shelling out new material on stage and in the studio for the better part of a year. The Biscuits’ latest studio single, “Shocked!”, arrived in February along with a cryptic message hinting at the new material’s inclusion in an upcoming “space opera.”

The two New Orleans Disco Biscuits shows will come as part of Live For Live Music’s annual Fest by Nite series during New Orleans Jazz Fest.
