Trouble No More scrapped a pair of shows originally scheduled for this Friday, March 24 in Boston and Saturday, March 25 in New York City. The Allman Brothers Band tribute act cited “circumstances beyond our control” in an Instagram post announcing the cancelations.

Both concerts were to be held in celebration of the 50th anniversary of The Allman Brothers Band’s iconic 1973 album, Brothers & Sisters. Keyboardist Chuck Leavell was expected to guest with Trouble No More at the Orpheum Theatre on Friday and at the Beacon Theatre on Saturday.

“We were looking forward to seeing you all out there in those two beautiful theaters,” wrote the band in the announcement. “Please bottle that energy and we’ll see you back on stage in NYC and MA in November,” added Trouble No More in hinting at new November dates.

Trouble No More consists of guitarists Brandon “Taz” Niederauer and Daniel Donato, vocalist Lamar Williams Jr., bassist Dylan Niederauer, sacred steel specialist Roosevelt Collier and keyboardist Peter Levin along with drummers Jack Ryan and Nikki Glaspie. Ryan was out for the shows as he is on tour with Marcus King in Europe.
