Little Feat announced details of their upcoming Fall Tour 2023 which will consist of two-night stands in each city they visit in September and October. The legendary band will perform their classic albums Sailin Shoes and Dixie Chicken at each stop of the tour.

Along with The Albums Tour announcement, Little Feat confirmed deluxe reissues of Sailin’ Shoes, which originally came out in 1972 and Dixie Chicken, which marks the 50th-anniversary of its release this year. The new versions of the two albums will be released by Rhino Records on June 23 with Sailin’ Shoes expanding to include a live performance taped in 1971 and Dixie Chicken filled out with live recordings from 1973, along with other rarities and unreleased tracks.

Little Feat – longtime keyboardist Bill Payne, bassist Kenny Gradney (bass), Sam Clayton (percussion and vocals) and Fred Tackett along with guitarist Scott Sharrard and drummer Tony Leone – will perform Sailin’ Shoes in its entirety at the first show of each two-night engagement, with Dixie Chicken presented in full at the second concert. Little Feat devoted 2022 to performing their live album Waiting For Columbus at stops across North America.

The tour kicks off in Nashville on September 29 and 30, followed by previously confirmed shows that take place in Washington D.C. on October 3 and 4. A two-nighter takes place in New York City on October 6 and 7. Boston follows with shows on October 9 and 10.

The band then heads to Collingswood, New Jersey to present the albums on October 12 and 13. Chicago is the next stop with performances planned on October 15 and 16. Little Feat’s albums tour concludes in Los Angeles on October 20 and 21.

Tickets and VIP options go for most of the tour’s shows go on sale on Friday, April 28.
