Mighty Poplar Announces Fall Tour Dates Following Live Debut This Spring

57

Folk/bluegrass supergroup Mighty Poplar has announced a run of fall tour dates in the Midwest, South, and Northeast. The collaborative project featuring Andrew Marlin (Watchhouse), Noam Pikelny and Chris Eldridge (Punch Brothers), Greg Garrison (Leftover Salmon), and Alex Hargreaves (Billy Strings), released its self-titled debut album earlier this year and will make its live debut with a run of tour dates around Colorado and the West Coast in May with John Mailander on fiddle.

After that, the band members will take time to play with their various projects before reuniting for a run of fall tour dates beginning September 13th at Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago. The tour will then take them to the Midwest, with stops in Ann Arbor, MI (9/14) and Kent, OH (9/15) before heading to the Borderland Festival in Buffalo on September 16th. After a show at Stuart’s Opera House in Nelsonville, OH (9/17), they will continue on to the South with stops at The Grey Eagle in Asheville, NC (9/19) and AmericanaFest in Nashville (9/20). They will then head to the Northeast for shows in New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C. before wrapping the tour back in Raleigh, NC on September 29th.
