Four years after embarking on a farewell tour, Peter Frampton will return to the road for a U.S. tour this summer. The Never Say Never tour will make stops at cities throughout America between June 21 and August 19.
Frampton was diagnosed with a degenerative muscular disease called inclusion-body myositis in 2019. Later that year he embarked on his Finale Tour. After testing the waters by performing live in Europe and the UK last fall, he’s ready to tour extensively again.
The legendary rocker shared the following about the trek and his health:
“At the end of every Finale Tour show I did say, ‘Never Say Never’ and I am always full of hope for the impossible. I’m very pleased to let you know that I am feeling strong and my fingers are still roaming the fretboard. Every note I play now has more meaning and soul. I love playing live and this fighter wants to stay in the ring for as long as he can. I’m so happy to be able to see you all one more time this summer. Much love, Peter.”
Peter Frampton launches the tour in Huber Heights, Ohio on June 21. Cincinnati, Charlotte, Orlando, Boston, Port Chester (New York), San Francisco and Las Vegas are among cities the Never Say Never tour will visit before Frampton wraps the excursion in Sandy, Utah on August 19.
Citi cardholders will have access to a presale for select shows that begins tomorrow (Wednesday, April 12) at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets then go on sale to the general public this Friday, April 14.
