Slightly Stoopid returns to Mexico’s Hard Rock Riviera Maya December 7 – 11 to headline the 2023 installment of their Closer To The Sun all-inclusive destination event. The band will perform multiple shows over the course of the winter concert vacation’s four nights. Additionally, members of Slightly Stoopid will team with Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe for a tribute to the Beastie Boys.
The Closer To The Sun 2023 lineup also includes two shows each from Stick Figure, Dirty Heads, Pepper, The Movement, Common Kings, DENM and The Skints. Both Steel Pulse and Little Stranger are aboard for one performance a piece.
Produced by Cloud 9 Adventures, Closer To The Sun will host various venues throughout the Hard Rock including the main Concert Courtyard stage, Beach Stage on the Caribbean coastline and intimate Late Night Stage. Artists will participate in curated activities such as morning yoga, music workshops, a basketball tournament and more.
Guests for the ninth edition of the event can stay at the Hard Rock or 15 minutes away at the luxury, adults-only UNICO 20°87° Resort. All-inclusive packages go on sale to returning Closer To The Sun guests starting on Tuesday, April 25. If any rooms remain, the Public On Sale begins on Wednesday, April 26 at 12 p.m. ET.
