Olivia Jean released a new single/video, “Raving Ghost.” The song is set for the garage rocker’s upcoming album of the same name, due out on May 5 via Third Man Records.
Olivia Jean produced Raving Ghost at Valentine Recording Studios in Los Angeles and Third Man Recording Studio in her home base of Nashville. The singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist enlisted My Morning Jacket keyboardist Bo Koster and Jellyfish co-founder Roger Joseph Manning Jr. along with drummers Carla Azar (T-Bone Burnett, Nikki Lane) and Patrick Keeler (The Raconteurs, The Afghan Whigs) to contribute to the LP.
Olivia heralded Raving Ghost in early March with the single, “Trouble,” and now follows with the riff-driven title track. The song arrived with an official music video directed by Jean and Erica Salazar. Watch below:
