Dabin‘s concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre was postponed on Friday due to extreme winds and a nearby wildfire. The Canadian producer/musician was set to headline the iconic Morrison, CO venue with support from Ray Volpe, JVNA, Grabbitz, and MYRNE.

Red Rocks Park closed to visitors and the show’s start time was delayed after authorities issued pre-evacuation warnings throughout the area in response to hurricane-force winds and a wildfire along the hogback south of Interstate 70 in Jefferson County. The show was ultimately postponed completely due to the extreme weather, with refunds available for ticketholders.

“Morrison is under pre-evacuation fire warning so please get to safety. we tried everything we could to keep it going tonight. I’m so sorry guys,” Dabin wrote on Twitter.

Friday was set to be Dabin’s first time headlining Red Rocks and would have marked his biggest show to date. Earlier in the week, he expressed anticipation with a post simply reading “RED ROCKS WEEK 😍” followed by another the day before the show in which he expounded further: “Cannot believe i get to headline this iconic venue tomorrow. this is the biggest headline show i’ve done to date and i cannot wait to show you what we’ve been working on ahhhh 🫶🏻🫶🏻

After the show was postponed, Dabin was able to pull together a last-minute DJ set at Temple in Denver, and, luckily, he had a much better day on Saturday. “Going from the worst 24 hours of my damn life to a sold out Bill Graham tonight in SF,” he wrote on Twitter, adding, “redemption arc begins 😤

A new date for Dabin’s concert at Red Rocks is still to be determined.
