Yo La Tengo confirmed their North American Summer Tour 2023. The band added shows in June in support of their recently released album, This Stupid World.

Yo La Tengo – guitarist Ira Kaplan, drummer Georgia Hubley and bassist James McNew – kicked off a European tour last night in Dublin, Ireland that continues through May 4 in Bordeaux, France. The trio that originated in Hoboken, New Jersey will begin their North American run on June 9 in Jersey City.

Yo La Tengo will then play a previously announced show in Washington D.C. at the 9:30 Club replica The Atlantis on June 10. From there, the tour continues to Portland, Maine on June 13 and South Deerfield, Massachusetts on June 14. The band then heads to Canada for shows in Montreal on June 15 and Toronto on June 15.

The tour’s lone two-nighter takes place on June 18 and 19 in Boston. Additional stops include Homer, New York on June 21, Detroit on June 22, Kalamazoo, Michigan on June 23 and Chicago on June 24. The final push will see Yo La Tengo make appearances in Knoxville, Tennessee on June 26, in Birmingham, Alabama on June 27 and in Atlanta on June 28. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 14.
