Greta Van Fleet Frontman Josh Kiszka’s Jumpsuits Inspired ‘Sacred The Thread’ Single

“I always like to think that some people’s first impression of Greta Van Fleet in concert is, ‘Wow, these guys really like dressing to the left and blowing shit up,’” said the band’s frontman Josh Kiszka. “This song is particularly important to me because it’s about my jumpsuits.”

Kiszka was referring to “Sacred The Thread,” the latest single off the Greta Van Fleet’s upcoming album, Starcatcher. The Dave Cobb-produced album is set for release on July 21 through Lava/Republic Records.

Recorded by lead singer Josh Kiszka, his brothers — guitarist Jake Kiszka and bassist/keyboardist Sam Kiszka — along with drummer Danny Wagner in Nashville at the historic RCA Studios, Starcatcher is the follow-up to the band’s sophomore album, 2021’s The Battle at Garden’s Gate. Greta Van Fleet previewed Starcatcher with the lead single “Meeting The Master.”
