Guster will put many miles on their touring vehicle — 4,428 to be exact — this summer for their Hello Mister Sun Tour. The Boston-birthed band starts the 10-city trek in California and makes their way to Maine for their previously announced On The Ocean weekend between July 27 and August 13.
Up first for the quartet is a show with the famed Bread & Puppet troupe in Shelburne, Vermont on July 13. Guster then begins the Hello Mister Sun Tour in California for concerts in Ventura on July 27, Pioneertown on July 28 and San Diego on July 29. The San Diego Symphony will accompany the band in San Diego.
Guster continues the trek with a two-night stand at the idyllic Mishawaka Amphitheatre in Bellvue, Colorado on August 1 and 2. The band’s announcement advised, “we don’t like to repeat songs when we play multiple nights in the same town.” Stops in Minneapolis, Columbia (Missouri), Lexington (Kentucky), Canandaigua (New York) and Hartford come ahead of On The Ocean weekend in Portland, Maine August 11 – 13.
