Bay Area festival Sound Summit will host five acts including Lord Huron, Sierra Ferrell and Kevin Morby on September 9. The event takes place at the idyllic Mountain Theater atop Mount Tamalpais in Mill Valley, California.
Brokedown in Bakersfield and Vinyl round out the 2023 Sound Summit lineup. This September’s festival marks a rare gig for Brokedown In Bakersfield, a collective of West Coast artists paying tribute to the Bakersfield sound.
Sound Summit is produced by Roots & Branches Conservancy to showcase and help fund the the upkeep of Mount Tamalpais State Park. Over $250,000 has been raised since the festival was founded in 2015.
