Bay Area soul outfit Monophonics and their Colemine Records labelmate Kendra Morris shared a new collaborative single, “Untitled Visions.” The track also arrived with an official video.
Monophonics are fresh off releasing their 2022 album, the mysterious Sage Motel. Morris also has a new album out, 2023’s Babble.
The Colemine lablemates have now teamed up for “Untitled Visions,” which is “written about the hectic and bizarre lifestyle that comes with being on tour,” as per a press release.
“’Untitled Visions’ is a cutty collaboration from modern-soul pioneers Monophonics, and their powerhouse of a label-mate Kendra Morris. The track dives into the feelings of boredom, anxiety, fun, stress, anticipation, and the entire plethora of emotions you feel when living life on the road.”
“Untitled Visions” sees Kendra Morris pairing her soulful soaring vocals with those of Monophonics’ Kelly Finnigan over a throwback soul track. Watch the official video for “Untitled Visions” below:
