Tanya Tucker released a new single, “Breakfast In Birmingham,” featuring Brandi Carlile. The song is set for the Country Music Hall Of Famer’s Carlile-co-produced album, Sweet Western Sound, which arrives this Friday, June 2 via Fantasy Records.

Carlile co-produced Sweet Western Sound with Shooter Jennings, the same tandem that helmed Tanya’s 2019 comeback album, While I’m Livin’, her first studio effort in two decades. Tucker began the Swwet Western Sound rollout in early April with the single “Kindness.” She followed with “When The Rodeo Is Over (Where Does The Cowboy Go?),” written by Tanya’s partner Craig Dillingham.

Carlile co-wrote Tucker’s latest single, “Breakfast In Birmingham,” with renowned lyricist Bernie Taupin, who is best known for his longtime, legendary writing relationship with Elton John. “Breakfast In Birmingham” has a classic country sound and speaks of a nomadic with vivid lyrical imagery. Along with co-writing the song, Brandi also teamed up with Tucker on vocals.
