Asheville, NC-based African funk fusion ensemble Toubab Krewe will hit the road for a run of summer tour dates around the U.S. and Canada.
The tour kicks off on Saturday, May 27th at StrangeCreek Campout in Greenfield, MA and continues with a stop at the Press Room in Portsmouth, NH on the 28th. From there, Toubab Krewe will head to Arizona for a headline show in Phoenix (6/2) and an appearance at the Flagstaff Hullabaloo (6/3).
In July, the band will play Jerry Jam in Cabot, Vt (7/14), Vancouver Folk Festival in Vancouver, BC (7/15), and Floydstock in Floyd (7/29) before returning home to Asheville, NC for AVL Fest on August 5th. They will also bring their unique blend of West African and Appalachian
traditional music, rock, and funk to Culture Fest in Pipestem, WV and High Street Sounds in Barbourville, KY in Sepetember.
