Joy Oladokun was the musical guest on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Monday. The acclaimed singer-songwriter performed “Somebody Like Me” for the late night television appearance.
“Somebody Like Me” appears on Oladokun’s new album, Proof Of Life, which arrived on Friday, April 28. Joy tapped Mike Elizondo, Ian Fitchuk, Dan Wilson and Alysa Vanderhym for production on the record and welcomed Chris Stapleton, Manchester Orchestra, Mt. Joy and others as guests.
Oladoukun made her in-studio debut on The Late Show in March 2022 where she unveiled her single “Purple Haze.” Joy returned to the program on Monday where she offered a passionate performance of the Proof Of Life track, “Somebody Like Me.”
