Billy Joel continues to roll out dates for the final 10 shows of his record-breaking residency at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The Piano Man announced today that the third of the final 10 shows will take place on December 19.
News of Joel’s historic MSG residency coming to a close in July 2024 with his 150th overall show at the World’s Most Famous Arena arrived earlier this month along with the announcement of the first of the final 10 shows to go down on October 20. Joel subsequently announced a concert on November 22, Thanksgiving Eve.
The rollout of the holiday portion of the final 10 shows continues with the latest announced date set for December 19. It will mark Billy Joel’s 97th concert of his monthly residency and the 143rd lifetime show at The Garden since the New York native debuted there on December 14, 1978.
Following various presales beginning early next week, tickets for the December 19 concert at Madison Square Garden go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 23 at 10 a.m. ET. Buy Billy Joel December 19 tickets via Ticketmaster.
