Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats canceled the remaining dates on their European Tour. In a social media post, Nathaniel Rateliff cited “scheduling conflicts” as well as “personal health and mental well being” as the reasons for the cancellation.
Rateliff noted that the Colorado-based band played their slot at the Black Deer Festival in the UK but have now returned home. Read the full note below:
Hello Friends –
We are home now resting after the Black Deer Fest in England. It was a great night and it was hard to come back as we were meant to do a three week tour through Europe.
I want to send this message out to express how sorry we are not to be there. We have always loved playing in Europe – the festivals as well as our headline dates.
We are not able to make the rest of the tour unfortunately as we’ve had several unexpected issues come to
bear.We have scheduling conflicts as well as circumstances having to do with our personal health and mental well being
We are incredibly torn about not playing these dates. We know that by taking this break and pulling back we will come out of this in the right place and look forward to playing shows that you all deserve.
You all mean everything to us and we wouldn’t be where we are
without you! Thanks you for your love and continued support.
We love you all and can not wait to be back with new music.
Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats are scheduled to hop on Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Country Tour for a string of dates in late July before kicking off their U.S. headlining tour on August 1. Check out the band’s 2023 itierary below:
