Legendary basketball player Shaquille O’Neal, aka Diesel (Shaquille O’Neal), made a surprise appearance at the Electric Forest festival in Rothbury, Michigan on Friday. The NBA Hall Of Famer sunk an incredible shot from the stage into a mini basketball hoop a festivalgoer held up in the audience.
Shaquille O’Neal was one of the most dominant and decorated big men the NBA has ever seen. Playing between 1992 and 2011, Shaq won four NBA titles, three of which with the Los Angelese Lakers he took home Finals MVP. He was Rookie Of The Year in the 1992-93 season, league MVP in the 1999-2000 season and was a 15-time all-star, to name just a few of his most notable accolades.
But one facet of the game always famously gave Shaq problems: free throws. O’Neal’s struggles at the line even prompted some coaches to adopt the controversial “hack a Shaq” strategy.
But it almost looks like Shaq’s been working on his shot. During his surprise DIESEL set at Electric Forest, Shaq sunk a shot from the stage in a hoop an attendee was holding up. It even surprised the NBA Hall Of Famer:
I still can’t believe I made this lol pic.twitter.com/q0BUM2iDou
