Umphrey’s McGee will bring their annual interactive concert event UMBowl X to Boston’s House Of Blues. For the first time, UMBowl will coincide with Halloween celebrations when it takes place on October 27 and 28.
UMBowl X promises to present three different sets each night. Previous events have featured various audience-interaction, giving fans the opportunity to influence what and how the band performs, including real-time voting while the band is onstage.
Umphrey’s McGee debuted UMBowl in Chicago in 2010 where it was staged annually through 2013. The Capitol Theater in Port Chester, New York hosted UMBowl in 2014. UMBowl events in 2015 and 2016 were held at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas, ahead of a five-year hiatus. UMBowl expanded to two-nights for the first time in 2021 when it was held at The Cap. UMBowl IX was a return to Chicago as last year’s two-night event took place at the Riviera Theatre.
Tickets to UMBowl X at Boston’s House Of Blues go on sale on Friday, June 23 at 10 a.m. ET through LiveNation. Umphrey’s Ticketing pre-sale tickets and umVIP packages go on sale Wednesday, June 21 at 10 at 10 a.m. ET.
Additionally, Umphrey’s McGee’s ongoing 25th Anniversary Tour added a three-show run at the Georgia Theatre in Athens, Georgia. The concerts will be held November 30 through December 2. Like UMBowl, Georgia Theatre pre-sale tickets will be available through Umphrey’s Ticketing on Wednesday, June 21 at 10 at 10 a.m. ET. Tickets to Umphrey’s McGee’s Georgia Theatre run go on sale to the general public on on Friday, June 23 at 10 a.m. ET through AXS.com.
