Grace Bowers & Friends will be performing a benefit concert for The Covenant School on Monday, July 10 at The Basement East in Nashville that will livestream exclusively via Volume.com. All proceeds from the benefit will go to Covenant Heals and MusiCares® in recognition of the Covenant School Family and all those affected by gun violence.

Artists including Butch Walker, Hannah Wicklund, Devon Gilfillian, Daniel Donato, and more will perform throughout the evening in a celebration of life, love, and music. Visit Volume.com to purchase a ticket to watch the all-star livestream event.

“I asked all of my friends and favorite musicians to donate some jams celebrating life, love, and music.” says Bowers about the concert. “At the end of the night our efforts and charities will provide compassion, strength, and support to Covenant families and all those who have been affected by gun violence.”

Covenant Heals has been created as an arm of The Covenant School and church to move towards healing and growth. Its focus is connecting the community with individual care as well as facilitating groups and opportunities for healing, growth, and learning in the community. Funds from the Grace Bowers & Friends benefit will be used for continued care of the Covenant Community as they navigate the 2023-2024 school year and beyond.

MusiCares helps the humans behind music because music gives so much to the world. Offering preventive, emergency, and recovery programs, MusiCares is a safety net supporting the health and welfare of the music community. Founded by the Recording Academy in 1989 as a U.S. based, independent 501(c)(3) charity, MusiCares safeguards the well-being of all music people through direct financial grant programs, networks of support resources, and tailored crisis relief efforts. Music fans can also donate directly to both causes via a gofundme set up in tandem with the Grace Bowers & Friends Benefit Show.

At just 16-years-old, Grace Bowers has emerged as a must-see (and play with) guitar phenom on the Nashville scene, and she was recently endorsed by Gibson. Her reputation as a gifted young talent has earned her invitations to sit in with the likes of The Allman Brothers, The Gaslight Anthem, Charlie Worsham as well as many other nationally and locally known artists.

After the tragic event this past March, Bowers decided she wanted to do something to support The Covenant School community, and started making calls to all the amazing musicians she’d had the pleasure of meeting and playing with in Nashville. She was heartened by the enthusiastic response from her peers and their willingness to lend their time and talent to what’s sure to be an incredible celebration of love, life, and music in support of a good cause.

Performing artists at the Grace Bowers & Friends benefit show include:

Nathan Aronowitz, Keshia Bailey, Ben Chapman, Daniel Donato, Seth Fox, Audley Freed, Devon Gilfillian, Jen Gunderman, Fancy Hagood, Hugh Howser, Lindsay James, Megan Jane, Peter Keys, Peter Levin, Paul McDonald, Meg McRee, Will McGee, Noah Miller, Jared James Nichols, Matthew Paige, Father Philip, Alex Rahal & Brother Love (Them Vibes), Erin Rae, Paul Thacker, Sarah Tomek, Jay Tooke, Kyle Tuttle, Butch Walker and Hannah Wicklund, among others.
