With Dead & Company’s Final Tour now in the past, guitarist Bob Weir will turn his full attention to Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros. The quartet expanded their September touring plans with five new headline tour dates.
Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros — which consists of Weir joined by bassist Don Was, drummer Jay Lane and keyboardist Jeff Chimenti — will hit the road this September with pedal steel guitarist Barry Sless and The Wolfpack horns/strings (Alex Kelly, Brian Switzer, Adam Theis, Mads Tolling and Sheldon Brown). The headlining shows come in addition to previously announced slots on Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival 2023 and appearances at the Park City Song Summit and Farm Aid.
The first new date is a concert at Ting Pavilion in Charlottesville, Virginia on September 13. Weir and the band also confirmed headlining shows in Shelburne (Vermont) on September 19, Columbus on September 26, Philadelphia on September 27 and Baltimore on September 28.
General on-sales for tickets to the five new shows begin this Friday, July 21 at 10 a.m. ET. Artist and Venue Presales are slated for Thursday, July 20 at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. ET respectively.
