George Porter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners brought a taste of New Orleans funk to FTC StageOne in Fairfield, CT on Saturday.
The legendary Meters bassist and his band comprised of Michael Lemmler (keyboards), Chris Adkins (guitar), and Terrence Houston (drums) played a set flush with Meters classics including “Just Kissed My Baby”, “People Say”, “Wanna Get Funky”, and more. The band capped off the evening with “Ain’t No Use”.
