Gov’t Mule announced singer and multi-instrumentalist Jackie Greene will join the Dark Side Of The Mule Tour. The Pink Floyd tribute tour led by Mule guitarist Warren Haynes kicks off in Atlantic City on Saturday, July 22 with Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening.
While Jackie Greene is an outstanding singer-songwriter and solo artist in his own right, his resume is full of collaborations with legendary rock acts. Greene has performed with rock luminaries such as Phil Lesh, Bob Weir and The Black Crowes. Jackie has also toured with Gov’t Mule in the past.
Along with Haynes and Greene, the DSOTM band features Mule members Matt Abts (drums), Danny Louis (keyboards) and Kevin Scott (bass). Saxophonist Ron Holloway along with vocalists Machan Taylor and Sophia Ramos round out the DSOTM lineup.
After the tour kickoff in Atlantic City, notable stops for Dark Side Of The Mule and Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening include Noblesville (Indiana, formerly Deer Creek), Tinley Park near Chicago, Colorado’s iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, Atlanta’s Cadence Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park, Boston’s Leader Bank Pavilion and tour closer at the picturesque Wolf Trap in Vienna, Virginia near Washington D.C. on August 20.
