’90s alternative rockers Porno For Pyros will return to the road this fall after a 25 year touring hiatus to celebrate the band’s 30th anniversary with the Horns, Thorns en Halos tour.
Three decades after releasing their self-titled debut album, original members Perry Farrell, Stephen Perkins, Peter DiStefano, and Martyn LeNoble, who formed the band after the initial breakup of Jane’s Addiction, will traverse the United States, stopping in major cities including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Denver, Omaha, Chicago, Detroit, Boston, New York, Atlanta, Nashville, New Orleans, Dallas, Austin, and more. The 21-city tour will kick off on October 8th at Hard Rock Live Sacramento in Wheatland, CA and stretch until November 20th, when it concludes with a show at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater in Austin, TX. A presale for tickets to the first Porno for Pyros tour in 25 years will begin Wednesday, July 12th. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale beginning on Friday, July 14th at 10 a.m. local time at Live Nation. Last year, Porno for Pyros reunited for a sold-out show at the Belasco in Los Angeles. Since then, the band performed at Welcome To Rockville, Chicago’s Metro, and Lollapalooza and has been documented working on new studio material expected to release later this year.
