After kicking off the band’s annual Colorado run with two nights at the scenic Dillon Amphitheater, The String Cheese Incident opened its three-night run at Red Rocks Amphitheatre with the first-ever John Fogerty Incident.
The Colorado Music Hall of Famers took the stage with the usual lineup and played a free-flowing set of original tunes beginning with “Outside and Inside”, “Lost”, “Shine”, and “Look at Where We Are”. After rounding out the first set with “100 Year Flood” > “Close Your Eyes” and “Rollover” > “Rivertrance”, the band took a short set break before returning with Credence Clearwater Revival frontman John Fogerty and his son Shane, who impressed the audience with his guitar skills.

The augmented ensemble tore threw a set of CCR hits including “Up Around The Bend”, “Lookin’ Out My Back Door”, “Born on the Bayou”, “Have You Ever Seen the Rain?”, “Down on the Corner”, and “Fortunate Son”, all played with a touch of Cheese. Upon returning for an encore, The Fogerty Incident made sure the crowd left satisfied with a joyous two-song singalong of “Bad Moon Rising”, “Proud Mary”.
